Phrases I'd Like to Never Hear/See Again.

But at the end of the day -----------
Trust me--------
Har, hold muh beer an watch this!

"I heard that", with the emphasis on "that". A local favorite among the knuckle-drag crew when they can't think any other way to say they agree with something.

In the corporate world: 'Reach-out'. "I'll reach-out to Jennifer and get her input on this."

Had a boss once that could not stand the corporate pc speak.

One day in a meeting:
Co-worker: "Do you want me to reach-out to Fred and touch base to gather some input on the opportunity?

Boss: "No, I want you to call his arse up and fix the damn problem."

Or another one from the corporate world that would drive him crazy: 'Counsel him/her out of the organization'

HR manager: "Do you think we should begin the process of counseling him out of the organization"?

Boss: No, I want him fired and escorted off the premises by close of business today."

On the gun forums the one that gets on my nerves is, "It just disappears"

Community

The word Community as it refers to poor people/ or not so poor but smart politicians of certain ethnicity and allows blanket coverage of all wrong doing.
As a cop I heard about a million times when asking perps what they were arrested for, " Well, they said I " ( any insert imaginable or not ) but it was'nt me.

On the gun forums, "DA trigger break as smooth as butter"

Vulgar and obscene ones:
"Built like a brick ----house"
"T--- on a bull"
"I feel like ----"
Others:
"Let's do lunch"
"I want your input"
"I want your feedback"

Some of my biggest pet peeves with regard to language are from "cop talk". We've all seen the "police spokesman" say in a press conference...."the gentlman." What a gross and vulgar misuse of the language. The guy was not a "gentleman"! Wake up! Find something better to call him!.....like ass clown, perp, scum bag, etc.
