Wooden gun racks stained and polyurethaned from 3/4" plywood.
Darn! I don't know why I didn't think of using "prop rods" in the trigger guards!
I have a number of wire racks, but some of my guns have to lay flat on the shelf. Not a very good use of the space. Empty shotgun shells will do the job until I get busy and make something better.
For those of you that use the foam racks have you ever had any problems from the foam retaining moisture/humidity? That would be my concern about them but otherwise I like them.
One of my safes has a peg board on the door. I bought metal peg board hooks and double dipped them in that liquid rubber that dries like the rubber grips on pliers. Hang handguns by triggerguards w enough spacing not to rub each other. In other safes I have used wire racks as shown by others. They work well.
