Hello eveybody,

I'm a new guy in town, please help me to know manufacturing date of this bodyguard. Serial Number is J 9454XX, I understand that J prefixe started in 1982 but I have not acces to a SCSW yet.

Could someone told me more about this revolver?

Actually the J prefix started in 1969, your gun is from 1982, same year they stopped pinning the barrel.. These are known as the Airweight Bodyguard and production started in 1955.
