If it's not allowed here then please delete. I usually don't ask for personal things here, but it's my mother in law and her late husband passed rather unexpectedly (after a short battle with cancer).

After losing the love of her life, Kimberly Bomboy needs to rebuild her life. The current landlord has given her 3 months to vacate the property, but the mobile home that she and her late husband Chuck had planned on building from the ground up is not finished. A local Christian group is willing to donate all the necessary labor for this project, but Kimberly needs help to purchase the needed materials.

With your help she will be able to finish the trailer home she and Chuck, who died unexpectedly, wanted to grow old in. Unfortunately it will be without him but at least she can finally come to a rest and go through the grieving process once that trailer home is finished.

Chuck was a good guy, a gun guy, a car guy, dog lover. He had an interesting fashion sense too. And he was willing to give you the shirt off his back. I've never seen him in a bad mood, not sure how he did that, really.

I already moved some firearms in order to generate the needed cash. If the home is not ready by the time the landlord kicks her out she'll be on the street, she's located in Oklahoma and all the family is spread out.

I'm not asking you guys and gals to move mountains for a guys MIL you don't even know. But every penny counts and will be put towards building materials.

Fundraiser by Jorge Estrada : Please help Kim Bomboy to rebuild her life.

Any help is appreciated!!

They were "building a trailer"???? Doesn't sound right. Otherwise I have a great deal of sympathy for her, but no money. All I have myself is the life insurance payments from my wife's death 3 1/2 years ago, retirement and social security.

A few things,

1) you don't have to explain anything about your financial situation,
2) I don't expect people to give anything,
3) thank you for your sentiment and
4) I'm sorry it doesn't sound "right" to you but that's what they were planning on doing.

Chuck lived a very humble life, he really put more emphasis into being a good person and enjoying life. The outside is already done, and they wanted to custom-build the inside from the ground up. If you would have clicked on the link you would have seen the pictures, it's gutted on the inside and not livable. No water, no electricity. Now she's trying to make it at least livable and then she can rest and grief, something she had no time doing since his death (January this year). After that I don't know what her plans are.

Jorge… I do not do much electronically. If you would PM your mailing address I will be happy to send you a small donation, with no strings attached. Cancer is such a vicious, remorseless enemy. I have lost far too many friends and a few family members to it. I'd be happy to help your mother-in-law, what little I can.

Thank you so much sir, we do appreciate it!!

My S-I-L fits your description to a T. But even worse. A few years later he daughter was killed after being run over by a car.

The Gofundme is the way to go. All you have to do is let everyone know - friends and family. Word spreads. For someone that was a real good guy, money comes in.

Also, the social net we have in this country is amazing. My S-I-L got by for many years and never had to work. Section 8 housing and welfare payments cover all the necessities. All you need to do is fill out the forms.

Sorry for your loss. Sorry I can't help other than with advice. Three family members with cancer and insufficient SS has a lot of us struggling.

Again, thanks to everyone who has donated. I appreciate it and I know my MIL appreciate is too.

I've only asked the first 2 or 3 if they wanted their name posted in the fundraiser and they said no. I don't think I have asked anyone else since then and just donated anonymously, so in case you didn't see your name, that's why. I apologize for that.

I've donated, and shared this fundraiser to my Facebook page...let's see if we can make a difference in this lady's life...

Thank you so much, we do appreciate it.

Something happened with fundraiser and I'm not sure why. I kept receiving emails after email from them to connect a bank account until July something, if not all the donations would be refunded. So I did connect my bank and then I got an email that they will transfer the funds. I did not request that, so I'll contact them and ask what's going on.

Thank you everyone who has donated to my MIL so far.

The longer the Christion group has been working on the trailer, the more stuff they find that needs fixing. So they told my MIL it's too much and basically backed out of their deal. For this reason, I have stopped taking donations on GFM.

I don't know what she wants to do now, and I'm stuck in the middle.

Either way the money will go toward her, even though right now I'm not sure if she'll be using it for the trailer or not. If you want your donation back, please contact me and we'll work it out.
