flat top Member Joined Dec 4, 2008 Messages 491 Reaction score 9 Dec 13, 2008 #3 Wyatt; I have been working on just such a modification on my 629, although there is no need to modify the frame, the lock can be re-installed if so desired, and the modification does not interfere with the funtioning of the gun in any way.
