Plugged bore on Model 28

One question I have is about reinstalling the barrel, won't it torque past the original line up and have to be set back a turn or shimmed?

No it did not have to be shimmed, nor did I have to set the shoulder back. When I removed the barrel, it took very little torque to loosen the barrel, and the same to re-install it. Being a pinned barrel also helped too.

Take the 28 away and give him a cap gun before he hurts himself and destroys a fine firearm.
