I've used the Desantis Nemesis with my 642 and Ruger LC9-S. Holster occasionally came out with gun. Uncle Mikes pocket holster was even worse.

So I'm looking for a pocket holster for the BG .380 and need some suggestions. Something preferably with a good hook to keep it in the pocket.

I had the same problem with my 638 so I switched from pocket carry w/Desantis pocket holster to appendix ITW. Much more comfortable for me....and well concealed. You might want to consider that as a better option.

Thanks. I will. But I bought the bodyguard for pocket carry. I can carry my Ruger LC9-S IWB. And while it's not torture, I can surely feel it as I drive.

Look at the Galco. I have used it happily for years. Inexpensive and effective.

I've tried a couple of pocket holsters for a couple of different guns in recent years. I had slippage problems with just about all of them. FWIW, I've found one from BigDaddyHolsters on Ebay to be Vg for the bodyguard. It doesn't have a hook but it does have a sticky band that holds it in my pants pockets pretty well. Not perfect but darn good. For $15 it's a steal too.

Another vote for Galco. The only down side is the open muzzle design which allows pocket fuzz into the barrel. Clean your gun weekly and there will be no problems.

Galco only lists a holster for the Bodyguard .380 with laser on their site. I really want a decent one. Desantis Nemisis never impressed me and the uncle mikes was total junk.

Which model is that? Don't see it in the link.

I purchased mine at a LGS. It's a commonly stocked item by most gun stores.
Sorry I don't know which of the numbers on the holster is the model number, and, as you said it doesn't show up on Galcos site. But I'm pretty confident you can find it locally.

Duct tape is the answer...

...isn't duct tape always the answer?

I made my own when I was carrying a BG380 out of layers of tape only. Worked pretty well and stayed behind in my pocket. WAY thinner than a Remora (see pic).

I've left the BG380 behind and now carry a j-frame in a mkII duct tape holster when I pocket carry. The new version uses a card stock liner with duct tape around the outside and extra layers over the trigger area. Thinner, lighter, but just as effective as the first version.

We have a Jason Winnie PCM (love the suede outer lining) as well as a Don Hume 001.

Jason also makes a PCF that looks almost like the one his grandfather made ;)

Here's a quick and ugly cell phone shot of ours...

I carry my LCP in a Remora pocket holster. It stays in the pocket when I pull it out. I also carry it in IWB again with no problems. I have them for all my guns including my EDC my Shield 9.

I emailed Jason and he told me they only make a holster for the laser model Bodyguard. And the remora has no hook to it at all. I'd prefer a higher quality holster but might have to go with the nemesis if I can't find anything else. I'd like to start carrying this weapon and I'm not throwing it in my pocket without a holster.

I'm using the DeSantis Super Fly for my BG380 and it's working out good so far. I've worn different shorts and pants and so far so good. I bought the holster for the crimson tace, but my gun does not have the laser. I wanted to make sure the gun wasn"t too tight a fit and it's working great.
