Just finished this for a customer. This turned out very nice. He sent me pictures of it on the gun when he got it back ( I only did the slide and installed the sights ).

Can't help but wonder how my sights would look on a sunny day with that big mirror on top of the slide?

I may end up doing that to mine before it's
over with. I kind of like the look, but it's
mainly cuz I have some light scratches on the
top of my slide.
And it came like that new, but I didn't notice
it in the store with the weird light..
They are not too bad, but they still bug me.
If I did that, no mo scratches..

I don't know what he charges, but another site
has been doing them for about $45 or so..
But.. the one above by custom looks shinier
than the ones the other guys do. They don't
polish down to a perfect reflecting shine.
Pretty close, but still seems to be a tiny
bit of glass bead effect.
That one above looks slick the way it reflects
light. It's more completely polished than some
of the other ones I've seen.
Looks good.

Nice polish job!! I've been thinkin about hand polishing my Model 66.. Might have to work on the sides of the sigma slide as well!! (Have ya done any with just the sides polished and the top stock? Seems too shiny on top my attract glare when aiming?) Looks darn sharp though!!

Side note: Can you polish the barrel of a SigmaVE?? I think it's a SS barrel but not positive..

Thanks guys. Its $105 to polish to a mirror shine like that. That includes all the prep and cleaning and return shipping to you.

Here are a couple more pictures. This was a customers slide by the way.

Barrels Cost $30 to polish and that again includes the return shipping.

Yes they get a mirror shine , everything gets a mirror shine best I can without changing tolerances. You can also opt for Matte and Satin finishes in the plating areas for more distinguished looks.

I also do custom engravings

Neat.

Pretty inexpensive way to "customize" an otherwise "blah" tool. I like to hear that you're willing to do the polish as the customer requests, since this takes care of shiny-top slide concerns.

Hey, customizedcreationz, great looking work. Can you make the slide a matte finish to match the poly frame? And if so, the cost please. Thanks. Any pixs of that type of finish?

Did mine with Mother's mag and aluminum polish. Cheap and just a lot of elbow grease. Finger prints are a problem but I don't mind wiping my guns.Sorry for the not so good pictures.

Shoot me an email, I can do matte finishes with plating in nickel if interested.

Deano that looks good !!

Thanks everyone for all the kind words.

Finger prints are a problem

Apply a coat of your favorite wax.

I usually have some highly polished stainless hip flasks on my table - Turtle Wax solved the fingerprint problems for me.
