Between the product alerts, forum posts, and Slickguns, Midway has to have sold several hundred of the 17rd mags. The S&W magazine panic may soon be coming to an end.
Didn't buy from Midway, but I did pick up 9mm 17 rnd Pro Mag from Cabellas. More out of curiosity than need. says on the package it has life time warranty. so see if I have good or bad luck with it.
I bought a M&P .40 FS magazine. I wanted to buy a 9mm FS mag but don't need it as much as others probably do. l hope mags will continue to be available at good prices.
I will not be short of magazines or ammo ever again. I'm not going to hoard but have what I need at all times.
And don't forget the outrageous prices 44mag.com and Cheaper Than Dirt were charging during the shortage when you make future purchases.
Didn't buy any because I have all I need. I learned during the original Assault Weapon Ban of 1994 that the time to buy mags and certain types of guns is before our elected representatives talk about banning them. I bought six mags when I bought the pistol during the summer of 2008.
I only bought one. My M&P only had one mag, which I was uncomfortable with. It's one of my house guns, so I don't need a crate of mags for it. In retrospect, probably should have bought two, but the two I will soon have will likely suffice.
