"Popular" - No accounting for taste

The more of todays music I listen to, the more I enjoy the Rolling Stones. Look at how many venues They sell out. I really liked Country and Classical music. Todays Country is Blah. Hear one song and You've heard them all. They used to be different. Tanya, Conway, Loretta, George, Dave and Sugar. I even went to a Neil Diamond concert in SF which became Hot August Nights. Well enough ramblin for now.

My niece was listening to the songs on my phone and Pretty Woman came on and she loved it. Made be promise to take her to see Roy Orbison if he came here in concert. I promised I would and it’d be my treat.

Riding out in the desert with my dad the Van Halen cover came on the radio with its opening "Intruder". Dad wrinkled his nose a bit so I laughed and said, "Just wait". He loved their version of Pretty Woman, as do I. The guitar fills are just perfect in their execution by complementing the original, not overpowering it.
