Wishing your daughter a full and speedy recovery.
Just got an update from Rusty.
"I erred. It is her right foot and leg. She had jammed the brake pedal and Newton's third took over. The responding officer said the emergency handbrake was fully deployed. He said her presence of mind to do that definitely lessened the impact and saved her from greater injury.
She is going to have several surgeries in the next few months to be able to walk.
None of us slept last night."
I, and my family, wish to thank all for your prayers and sincere kind thoughts.

We are all still weeding through all this. It is eye-opening how lives can be disrupted in one moment in time. I blame this on impatience.
Linds was southbound. The guy in the truck was northbound and saw an opening in traffic and floored it trying to shoot the gap in front of her into a parking lot. He severely misjudged it.
He told one of the responding officers that he was in a hurry.
"In a hurry"!!!
She is looking at multiple surgeries over many months and has quite the ordeal ahead of her. We will update as this unfolds.
Again, thanks to all especially Kevin.
Your, R&R.
