I paid 400.00 for a minty first month production 12/88 5906 with one 14rd mag and no box. ( from a private party). WHat You are descibing is worth at least that much and then some.

That sounds like an export model 5906.

Does it have matching serial numbers on the slide and frame (and possibly the barrel as well)? The export models had this, to comply with European law.

It's likely worth more to a collector than a "plain-jane" NIB 5906.

Just checked out few 5906's in the Bay Area. If its NOT an LE trade but a minty gun ( Box or not), cant touch them for under 400.00 + all the fees , transfers and tax.

What is a reasonable price to pay for a used 5906 with 2 mags?
It's from the original owner who purchased it in 1999. Very good condition with maybe 1,000 rounds through it.
