Price check on a model 38 (updated)

I have a friend with an immaculate model 38 air weight bodyguard (say 98%) pinned barrel, box, tools and original paperwork. I don't have the serial but can get it. I believe this one was made in the 60's however.

What is a fair price? Also, are there any dashes on the model 38? He's willing to sell to me at a fair price for both of us.

He's now asking $475.00. Is this a fair price?

I recently purchased a boxed 38 with tools and instructions for $450. The cylinder has a slight turn ring. I thought I did okay.

I recently sold a Model 38 to a fellow member here for $475.00 .
It was like new, but had turn ring.
