Anyone have experience with this scope?

I'm looking for a good, yet inexpensive 3x or 4x scope with illuminated reticule. Anything else better for the money?

Also, what ranges would this scope work best with the .22?

50 yards or less in my experience with a straight 4x scope. Can't comment on the scope you mentioned as I haven't used that brand. Just remember you get what you pay for.

I just bought one. They are 3x with a red illuminated circle and come with an integral base. It holds zero even when knocked around and looks very similar to the Burris AR-332 scope. The glass is clear and it seems to be a very good scope for the money. Mine is on an AR-15 but I can consistently hit my target at 200 yards.

On another AR-15 I have a Optisan Mamba. It is a more traditional style 1-4x scope with a red & green illumined reticle. I really like it and consider it a true value in the world of optics. It is very clear, hold zero and has proven itself to be a top performer. I picked it up with a mount at SWFA for like $150. Worth checking out.

The Primary Arms products have a VERY good reputation in the world of budget optics. I have a 30mm red dot & 3X magnifier on my 15-22 and couldn't be happier:D

The 3x is just about the only optic I haven't tried from Primary Arms. The hundreds of great reviews on arfcom tell me that it's on par with the rest of them. I currently have two micro dots and one 1-4. I've used the 4-12, the 3x9, and the green reflex sight and my only complaint was with the reflex not having an on off switch. They are making the gen2 now and that is one things they will change.

By the way, the 3x that they offer now is a gen2, so the small issues have already been worked out (if there were any).

In for pics/info, I bought one but its sitting boxed up in my garage currently. Not gonna be able to play with it for a while so Im curious about other peoples experience. I chose it for the fixed X3 power and the illuminated/etched glass reticule. Also I like that it is similar to the ACOG I use at work.

I've had one of these for 6months and have been very happy with it. I've also used the burris, they seem to be the exact same scope. I would not hesitate to buy another.

Great value for the $$$$$

I have several Primary Arms products, including the 1-4x and several red dots. The only one I had a problem with was a green dot reflex sight and Primary replaced it (after the warranty period by the way) quickly and with no questions asked......GREAT customer service. /MK
