Need to buy a used car. Looking at a 2009 Lexus IS250. Anybody got any terribly compelling reason I shouldn't?

They have a reputation for being gutless low in the rev range. If you don't like winding a motor out some, you will not like the driving experience.
If you look good in it that's all that matters.
