Puppy Pictures!!! (update in post #21!)

Last week some friends of mine had to euthanize their old dog, who had cancer. Afterward, his wife said she did not want to get any other dogs, because the loss was just too painful.

I sent the puppy pictures to friends of mine, including them. The next day he sent an email to me telling me that his wife wants to get one of the puppies, and asked for the dog owner's telephone number!

The coats look like Catahoula (my son has one with the same pattern but in reddish brown) but without the tail I would go with Aussie Sheppard

I wrote Warren via PM this week. Ironically, in my local paper were pups 1/2 Catahoula Leopard dog—1/2 Australian Shepard. There must be some cross pollination in the breeds somewhere back down the line. Or as we say locally "the bull done jumped the fence!"

I notice the Leopard dogs vary in color a great deal, some even solid brown or black. These Warren shows are very uniform in color, more like the Aussie dogs I think.

For the people who think they have pictured some chubby little "dogs on a swing"; you better take care cause there is a momma black bear lurking around looking for her youngins.
