I ranted a little previously about the wait time in ordering Tyler T Grips direct from Tyler MFG. What I failed to recognize was that Tyler T Grips, both produces a retro product and practices business like a retro company from the 1970s. This is not a bad thing, just something to understand. They don't take credit cards, debit cards, ACH transfers or any other of the recent financial technology for transmitting funds. They operate like a company from 1970, just like their product. If you send them a personal check they will wait for the check to clear their bank account and reconcile the receipt of the funds before sending the $25 grip you ordered. This may take several weeks as it is none manually, literally. If you send a bank issued money order you will receive your grip within two weeks (before that in my case) because they treat that document like cash. Don't send cash.

Here's my final point. If you want a Tyler T Grip either because you like the retro look (like me) or because you like the feel (like me) then send a money order or certified bank check and you will get your grip promptly. Don't send a personal check, the reasons are endless. Also, don't go to Amazon, Ebay or any other after market seller because they will only rip you off and you will end up spending $60 for a part you can have very easily within a few days for $25. They're a good company, they're just old school and I respect them for that.

I just received my order for the Tyler-T from Tomahawk Grips, one week after my check cleared. Fit and workmanship are perfect. I'm glad that this product is being produced again by a credible entity.

I got mine directly but had to call twice. He said he mixed my order up with new ones. He paid 26.00 yo overnight them.

Had the exact same experience. Waited 6 weeks after my check was cashed before calling. Was told my order was mixed in with the new orders. I received my grip 2 days later. I will try the MO nedt time I order.

I know there had been problems in the past in not receiving the product after they got your money. Hopefully they are working it out. My brother in law sent them a check for a pair of Tyler t's last April (2014) and has yet to receive what he ordered and they had cashed his check! All I can say is good luck!

I know he just sent 700 to that Robinson not sure of the name. I got 5 from him other week.
