I have been getting the shot in my left eye for several years and everything has been stable. I have been getting the shot about every three months and I got a shot Monday. I am treated by a group of Retina Specialists and you can end up with different doctors checking you and giving you the shot. This was a first time for this doctor.
I usually have the black blob for a couple of days after the shot and then it is gone. This time I had no black blob. I still have my usual one small black floater. My vision with glasses has always checked out 20-20 in both eyes. My eye has a discomfort best described as a ache. The vision in the eye is not as good as before the shot, things have a blur to them. Since the original bleeding, when looking a straight line, there has always been a slight curve. It seems the curve is longer now.
Has anyone experienced this? I would appreciate any info. I am contacting the doctor tomorrow.

I have "dry" macular degeneration in my left eye. Get the shot in the eyeball about every 8 weeks. Used to see the black blob at first, but now not so much. Left eye is blurry, right eye seems ok.

I do have cataracts also and floaters. Dr. says cataracts aren't ready yet.
I also use a machine from ForeseeHome, that my Dr. ordered via prescription, so I can check my eyes. Don't use it on the left eye anymore, but do on the right eye.
I normally test every day.If something unusual shows up on the test, they notify my Dr.
