Anyone know why the state of West Virginia seems to keep it a big secret what the state record black bear is???? Google any state record black bear and it will come up...maybe not the first thing you see, as that will always be a paid advertisement. But, it sure seems like there is no info posted online regarding a state record bear for wild, wonderful {and mysterious} West Virginia. I remember back in the 80's it was something like 459 pounds {sticks in my mind anyway} but I was just wondering if that has been broken or not and cant find any info. Not even on the old record.
