Ok, I've got the bad jones for a Model 12 and I'm pretty sure I want the Model 12-4 due to (a) the standard frame thickness and, more important to my personal taste , (b) the round butt. I have not had great luck finding anything locally (and I do try and keep it local). My google-fu has been much help. Should I expect to pay a premium for a 12-4 as opposed to the other versions and is there anything specific I should be looking for? Based on the dearth of information, I'm not even sure what I should be reasonably be expecting to pay.
Thanks,
Gonzo

I just looked on GB.com and they start at $425 and go up to $800. This seems high to me. Most are 12-2. You did not say what barrel length you wanted. None of the revolvers on GB.com has any bids.

I saw several the sellers were claiming as unfired that looked in their pictures as being fired.

Yeah, that is part of what threw me...the wide variation in prices. I'm really kind of set on a -4 model and I'm only interested in the snubbie version.
