I have a chance to get a new in box Smith & Wesson 431PD 32 HR Magnum. Price around 450.00. I know they stopped making these so I don't know much about them. Was wondering if it would be worth buying, are there a lot of these out there or is a new in box kinda hard to get. Not sure if I would ever use it much just interested for my collection. Any thoughts

I have only seen one for sale here in California in 4 years of looking.

I bought it.

Nice light carry gun -- and fairly rare.
 
That price is about half of what they are selling for. If you don't want it PM me the contact and I'll buy it. Also, the 32H&R Mag round is a great round, mild recoil, fantastic accuracy, and plenty of punch for self defense.

Got one a couple of days ago. Who knows where they got them, but that was a great price. Be interesting to see the date on the casing.

Do any of you know when they went out of production? I wonder where they were until they were released?


I just checked my order and it says : "Preparing for Shipment" I'll be happy to have her in my hands

Been carrying his brother the 432PD .32 for years. No recoil, accurate and a perfect pocket carry. I prefer the internal hammer for CCW but anyway you look at it, a great gun.
 
Great looking gun! I like wooden grips on a gun; its kind of old school, and I'm an old school guy
 
Picked mine up Tuesday, really nice guys, don't miss out on one!

First a thanks to Mg2wall for the heads up on this. Picked mine up Tuesday. I have been looking for
one of these for over a year for a decent price, but most averaged around $650. I wonder if this is a
new run by Smith and Wesson? Can't beat it at this price delivered. Here are some crappy picks from

They have more in stock tonight. I just ordered one.

Received FedEx tracking info this afternoon. It has shipped and is in transit. Should be here tomorrow. Great service!

Thanks for the Heads up, I just ordered one, hopefully I don't get a notification of Sold Out. I've been looking for a 432 or 431 for over a year, I wonder where this stash come from?

I just went back to the Sportsmans Superstore to look at something and now there are no 431's listed. Possibly I got the last one?

It has the hole. I believe they all do. My wife's is older, and it has it also.

H Richard, if it was in stock when you ordered and were given an order
confirmation, you should get it. They took several days to process my order.

I understand these were discontinued by the factory in 2006, and last mfg. date was 2005. I wonder if this was a batch someone found in the vault and wholesaled out to a distributor?

I did receive a confirmation number. I'm now waiting for a shipping details email.
