No , your gun actually looks nice. Once upon a time , I was issued an M15 that had 0% finish. ( I later accidently gave it a T-4 finish that perked it up quite well.) It had a very smooth action , and shot 1.0in groups at 25yds.
Blued guns that are actually carried WILL show blue wear. End of sentance. Period. Be it LE/ Corrections / Security/ Joe public who actually used it. Up into the 1980's this was well know and expected. A gun without blue wear was the moral equiv of buying a new sports car ( or new 4x4 ) , they parking it in the garage on jack stands under a cover and never using it for its intended purpose. And no , rust wasn't a big issue usually. Periodic clean and wipe down , plus every time it was rained upon.Holster wear was a mark of honor , rust was a mark of shame.
The big deal with stainless guns wasn't so much rust resistancr , but minimal obvious signs of holster wear.
