#108299. I've only owned it about two weeks and have fired perhaps 100 rounds.
I notice some trigger creep before an about 5# release.
My questions are:
if this creep before let off will continue, get worse, or go away with break in/dry fire.

I had two light primer hits during the session. A break in situation?

The rear sight seems too elevated. Is this common or is the front sight too high?
Thanks.

Your trigger may improve with use somewhat - not miraculously. After you have fired about 500 rounds you should have a better idea about the gun (and trigger) in general. Light strikes could be a number of things, not least ammunition. Are you using good quality U.S.-made ammo? Sometimes inexpensive imported ammunition will have harder primers. Adjustment of the sights is dependent upon shooter and ammunition combination. If you cannot bring the gun to zero at 25-yards with standard 230-gr ammo, you might have a barrel alignment problem. I have a stainless model with the same sights as your gun and it is regulated just fine. Unless someone installed the wrong front sight, your gun should be fine.

Thanks M29. It's out of business now as the cap is too tight, I had to drive it back to clean it, I can't get it back in, and I'm waiting for S&W to send me a proper one.
