R.I.P. Zachary

Snubby & Mrs. Snubby:
We grieve your loss with you. Have said goodbye to many a pet over the years and it just gets harder and harder. Know you will meet your beautiful cat again, and remember the good times always.

Condolences. It sounds like he went easy and had a good long life with you. My oldest cat Arrow is 18. He's healthy but slowing down now. I watch him carefully. Give yourself time to grieve, but then I'd recommend going to the pound and getting another. Maybe one of the older ones that nobody wants.

Doggone it Snubby I am sorry to hear that. Zachary reminds me of my Cody. Don't know how I'd handle it if anything happened to my buddy, Cody.

Prayers on the way for your comfort and peace of mind. Try to focus on all the many great memories you have. God bless...

Very sorry to hear this my brother.

God, grant me the strength of eagle wings, the faith and courage
to fly to new heights, and the wisdom to rely on His spirit to carry me there.

I remember when we first got him.
We were at an animal shelter looking for a cat. My wife was wandering the cages going "aww" and I was leaning on another row of cages.
Zachary reached through his cage and tapped me on the shoulder.
He went home with us.

Natayo's moping around the house. A little while ago he was yowling mournfully down the hall.

Thanks for sharing that great story, Wayne. I'm sure there are many, many more, and that they will provide you and your lady a lot of fond reminiscing in the years to come.

Almost 16 years. That's a good run for your little guy. And a blessing all around in your household. :)

Sorry for your loss. I don't know how I'll handle it when its my buddy is called home. Shasta's about 90 in cat years.

Good cats like these can't ever be replaced, just substituted for.

They each have a different personality. I try to get two or three from the same litter. They enjoy being together. My point is wait a while and when your ready adopt again.

I'm learning more and more how to talk with them.

RIP, Zachary.

I still remember the morning I woke up and found the Squeaking Evil Demon Kitty (TM) dead on the couch, when she had been sleeping with one of her dogs.

Very sorry to hear about the loss of Zachary.

Keep the happy memories of him in your heart and mind and know that you and your wife made a big difference in his life.

I'm late seeing this news. I'm sorry for you and your wife's loss.
It's never easy losing a friend. At least it sounds like he went in his sleep which is a peaceful thing.
I hope his sidekick is doing ok with this, too.
Pet friends sometimes take it hard for a while.
