I've always liked music. I played around with Pandora a bit and love the music on it. I check out the similar artists and have found a bunch of decent music you don't hear on mainstream media. It seems like an endless jukebox. Home net is unlimited and I make use of it when on the 'puter. Got some good Droge & Summers blend on now..........I hardly ever get out any of my own music anymore. I don't give a hang about cable, but gotta have the net.......I love getting out in the woods for a period of time, but when I'm in town, gotta have the technology. Anyone else using it or another source of online music?

I use Rhapsody. My brother uses Spotify as he says the bitrate is higher and the music sounds better. Both are a bit shy of $10 a month for all the music you want, any music you want, ad free. For free I use Jango, but I like the paid services because you can select what you want to hear. And if you want suggestions, you can do that, too. With 3G, works in the car, too.

I love Pandora. I never listen to the radio anymore, I just stream Pandora to my car stereo. I use my phone a lot, and stream Pandora at least 5 days a week and I haven't hit my 2 gig limit (I am currently using an unlimited plan, but I set a false ceiling of 2 gigs for monitoring purposed).

On my work computer, I use Spotify because Pandora is blocked. Spotify is alright. It has a lot more features but they are all lost on me. I just listen to county music most of the time, so all the other **** in Spotify is a waste of space and resources.

I use Sirius XM, only because my car truck came with it built in. I only keep it on Octane until my wife gets in then it all goes to down the drain with rap-****.

I do like Pandora a lot though. I wish I had it in my car other than Sirius. The whole like/dislike on the channel YOU make is great. I haven't listened to "normal radio" in over 3 years. I'm sure it still sucks and is loaded with advertisements.

I use it some through my Squeezebox Touch, but I'm old school and still prefer a live hosted show.

A knowledgeable or funny jock still entertains me.

I do listen while on line sometimes, but in the house, in the car or on the Harley I listen to XM/Serius Radio. I see that Pandora has really in creased the commercials now.

Use Pandora while at the gym but starting to get tired of adds....but hey its free so ill shut the up and enjoy it ;)

I've used it so much it has stopped giving me new songs. Eventually every station will turn into a station that plays it all. Country, rock, hip hop, all of it

Listening to 80's Alternative (early Depeche Mode) right now on Pandora. It's free and I love it...nice selection of music. I thougbt about paying for it...but I can live with the few advertisements and listen for free.

My iPhones jailbroken so I got this feature for unlimited skips and ad skips. I use it all the time now.

I've been in a radio mood lately, but generally I just add music to my phone from the plethora of albums my wife downloads from various sources.

i have hated pandora since i first found it many years ago. i'd put in an artist i like and it would play one song from them...then nothing else sounded like that group, or was even remotely anything i would have liked now i listen to slacker radio. totally customizable, free(or pay for some extra features), very few commercials and the bad songs that i have heard in the year or so i have used it can be counted on one hand.

you would have to pay me twice my hourly wage to listen to pandora over slacker.

I tend to use Pandora in the gym or when I'm doing something tedious like mowing and I need to put my mind elsewhere. A good set of earbuds and I'm drifting off as the time flies by.

For musical choice, I usually use "Phish". That gets me a pretty good blend of jam band stuff. Strangely, no matter what band or genre of music I chose, I get some "Beatles" mixed in. What's up with that? I had no idea they were so versatile!!!!!

I gave up on Pandora and Jango, as I found Spotify works better for me with the way I like to listen. After a brief struggle, I got my wife onto Spotify as well and now she uses it almost constantly. I love Spotify at work (where I sit at a computer all day long).

I like the variety of streaming services like Pandora and Spotify. My issue however is sound quality. If they would stream full nitrate flac or wav that would be great. If you are in a noisy car or cleaning the house then it does not matter as much. When you put your head inside your nice headphones connected to your external amp/dac you can hear how compressed the music really is. I am not a big rich audiophile but I am a budget audiophile. The source makes a huge difference.

Sounds like some other good choices out there also. I'll have to try a few of them. So far, no complaints but I pay the $4 a month.
