^ went by it last year.

It was totally disassembled and restored a few years ago. The project was primarily funded by Utah State Parks & Recreation.

They did "save" the cabin ans it was starting to lean to one side.

Everyone used to be able to go inside and look around but they locked it up so all you can do now is look inside.

To stand inside prior the restoration there was a "presence" that you could feel. Maybe the wrong word and not talking about ghosts.

That's gone now. Today is just a cabin made from the same wood. Its just not the same anymore.

Eruption of Mt. Taal , Luzon, Philippines. Taken from Tagaytay. Very surreal

Drove my cousin along North Old Dixie Highway today. Some call it the Ghost Highway.

Columbia River at Low Tide

Yesterday I had some time to kill, so I grabbed lunch to go at my favorite pub, then headed up to the top of Coxcomb Hill to eat it. I don't think I've ever been up there when the mouth of the Columbia was this low. Normally all those sand bars are hidden, and in this shot it's easy to see the main channel.

The bridge is the Astoria-Megler Bridge, the longest continuous-truss bridge in North America.

This trail is only .3 mile from my front door.

With as little snow as we've had this year I was surprised I ran into it soo soon.

I carry a 40v chainsaw with me. No extra 2-stroke gas to be bothered with.
Its perfect for clearing trees off the trail.

My favorite riding companion, my M&P .45.

Spring riding its inevitable that there's going to be fallen trees on the trails.

I only made it little over 4 miles from home and decided this ws a good place to stop.

It was a beautiful day with temps in the low 60s.

The last stretch coming back home.
