Split top Roubo woodworkers bench I am getting close to finishing. It is based on the design of a 1700's French woodworker and carpenter design. Benchdogs ordered yesterday and next up will be the cabinet for chisels and other smaller woodworking tools that will rest on the bottom rails. The top is a 7' piece of a 21' long hard rock maple shuffle board table is was given and the legs and base are from some 80+ year old 23' x 13" x 3' rough fir beams taken out of the same church the shuffle board came from. There than the vice hardware, the only thing bought for the bench so far is the one cherry board I laminated up for the outer jaw face on the end vice. The rest is all reclaimed wood anywhere from 50 to 100 years old. I have enough material to build two more and I will sell them when they are done.

I like the Tee-shirt. My first two motorcycles were Triumphs, both 1972 Daytona 500's. Bought the first one new.

Daytona 500, a "thumper"?

I learned early on that if I wanted to make it past my teens to never own a motorcycle. LOL

My brother had 4. A 1968 Trophy, '72 Bonneville 5-speed, '75 Trident and a 2010 Bonneville.

His 2010 was the only one I never rode.

Just added the two on top to my growing SAA collection.
Beretta (Uberti made) Stampede, smoked nickel, 7.5" 45LC,
Uberti Cattlemen, case hardened, blued with brass frame, 5.5" 45LC,
Ruger Vequero, bright stainless, 4.75" 45LC.
I just need some rigs now!
