Random Object Photographs

In following with sunsets, I find it quite peaceful to view them while I try to forget the bad things people do to one another.... Looking out the kitchen window from my Covid perch.....

We got lots of weird stuff here in NM.
A bunch of them fall between How did they do that?
And Why Did They Do That?
This Blackbird seems to be made from Hog Wire.
Get some hog wire, mash it into a Raven.
Paint it Black, put it in a Cemetery.

Reminds me of Edward Gorey's illustrations for the PBS "Mystery" series.

After days of rain and gloom, we finally got some sun. Hard to imagine that the world seems to be going to hell in a handcart when this is what greets you in the morning.

Pano taken with my modest iPhone; Despite some post-processing, unfortunately only a poor representation of what my eyes actually saw.

Here's one for you classic car buffs

Collector Classics: 1929 Dodge DA Roadster

29-Dodge-DA-Roadster-2.jpg

"...Only a dozen pre-1937 open cars are selected for the America’s Most Beautiful Roadster (AMBR) competition, and when the winner is selected, the remaining 11 cars all receive second place awards. These unique designs based on traditional hot rods are recognized as the world’s best examples of this art form evolution and the builder’s status is greatly elevated.

Possibly the most unusual AMBR entry this year was a 1929 Dodge DA roadster appropriately named ‘Six Shooter’ for the retention of an original style six-cylinder flat head engine...."
