Fall color at my gf's place in Bellingham WA. Actually a screen shot of a short vid of the leaves drifting down. A couple can be seen falling just to the left of center.
My youngest grandson Ryan, at an event and taking care of his horse. He works for Refuge Services who offer Equine Therapy for people with physical and emotional needs.
Notice he is riding bareback.
The horses movement is an important part of the therapy for the patients to feel the stimulation, and bareback allows them a better feel.
Most of the summer it was too hot and too dry for flowers to grow. Watering the garden kept stuff alive, but no flowers. We have had some rain late last month and early this month so the plants went crazy flowering. The butterfly that are migrating have been taking full advantage and making Mom happy by flocking around the yard.
Though the eucalyptus tree is an invasive species on the Monterey Bay the Monarch butterfly loves them. I have seen eucalyptus groves completely covered with them and the trees come alive. I only wish I had taken photographs of it
