After looking at innumerable fingerprints, I finally found Mr. Bill.......

yeah, just was sitting along one of the many trails at this park; the park does have a longer history but those spikes just caught my eye as it appears they have been there for sometime.

I only wish i was into this new photo hobby years back, when i used to bowhunt in the old Baraboo Ammunitions site (next to this park); as there were many cool things to see besides all the deer wandering around....

Looks like one of my projects, lots of nails partially in or bent over, actually not holding anything! I would be in the picture, but inside putting ice and/or Band-Aids on thumbs and fingers!

A few years back the local council was doing some work on the beach, rebuilding an area that had washed out from erosion. Here, they were filling sandbags to use to build up another area - Big sand bags. Made for an interesting picture.

For once I actually am familiar with some "odd" object pictured on the forum.

The subject of opaul's picture is a wheel off of a rotary hoe, a farm implement I used to use when working my father's farm as a boy. A rotary hoe has two rows of these, the purpose of which is to break up the top couple of inches or so of hard, crusted soil, which hinders the emergence of recently planted corn or soybeans. To work properly the hoe has to be pulled through the field with the tractor in "road gear"(high speed). That was fun, but turning on the ends of the field could be a tad adventuresome if one wasn't careful.
