I've discovered that black and white photography can also be an excellent medium for people and street photography. This little girl's look of amazement at the array of equipment on a police officer's duty belt is one example. Taken at a Veterans Day parade in Phoenix.

Since most of the stuff on his belt is behind him, it's out of her line of sight. I think it's much more likely she's thinking "Hey mister, your fly's open." or maybe "Hey, that's my brother's bike!".

I was going to start a thread for these, but I'd rather just post them where I know everyone likes photography!

We had company from out-of-town for a week. They left early this morning, and my wife had things to do, so I treated myself with what I call a "solo mountain trip". It's a three hour drive, but worth it.

The Crater is one of my favorite places. It never fails to amaze me. And, I had no idea that the wildflowers would be in bloom. That was a bonus!
