Century plants can grow rather tall. That's my wife next to a couple of them that grew in front of our house...!!!

Here is another mid 1800s double-arch stone bridge, also without mortar. Only gravity holds it together, like the other one I posted. I wouldn’t be surprised if the same stone masons built both. This one is the original bridge to what is now a State Highway, and so they had to put up a bridge that can take 88,000 pounds of tractor trailer in a 55mph zone. I took the shot during a spring melt/run off season.

My daughter and I provided lunch for the staff in the Infusion Center at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital yesterday.
Its the largest Infusion Center in the country. They average over 131 infusions daily.
My son-in-law runs an Italian Restaurant and prepared a delicious lasagna lunch with all the trimmings for about 65 people.
It was an honor to have the CEO - Director of The Huntsman Cancer Institute Dr Mary Beckerle join us.
That's my daughter Andrea on my right and Dr Beckerle on my left.
We do these luncheons to make sure that the doctors, nurses and technicians in the different clinics know that they are greatly appreciated.
Surrounded by Angels. Life is good.

World's Smallest Harbor
If you google "world's smallest harbor" it will take you to Depoe Bay, Oregon. I'm not sure if that's a fact, but it's what google tells us. It is a really small harbor though, and the very tiny channel connecting it to the ocean can be treacherous. It was pretty calm while we were visiting.
My wife and I spent a few days there recently (it's about a hundred miles south of us), and I took a couple of photos. The boat is filled with people ready to catch some bottom fish, like snapper and lingcod.

It is the smallest harbor. I have fished out of there several times. The last time we were some 20 miles out. The weather got bad and we headed back. When we got there, there were 2 red flags flying in the howling wind. Coming in between those rocks at full power is a rush! White knuckle time. Glad the skippers are old salts.

I took a sanity drive the other morning and headed for some old haunts. A trip along Cane River is truly a step back in time and well worth it scenery wise.
So many good memories for me ....going back to my teens. That photo is inside St. Augustine which is a beautiful old church with quite an interesting history.
It was a bright clear morning with the sun coming through the stained glass providing a contrast between light and shadow.
