I was trying to remember when was the last time I saw Cragar mags like that on a car. If I see this truck parked again, I might try to stick around and talk to the owner.

These appear to be the S/S version judging by the blue on the center caps. The G/T version caps had red in them. I like the stance of this truck as well as the lack of paint....it just screams bad ***!

I think removing the cow catcher from the bumper, ditching the fog/driving lights and definitely getting rid of the license plate would clean up the front end of this "diamond in the rough".

If you see it again, please flag it down and let us see what's under the hood.

I like the stance, too, and I'm not a big fan of dropped suspensions. If you can see blue on the center caps, your eyes are better than mine...but I'll admit I'm a bit color blind.

Well, looking at the upgraded headlights in combination with the fog/driving lights, I'd like to see the beam pattern at night before ditching the driving lights. I like to light up the road at night, long as it isn't detrimental to other drivers coming at me.

I definitely will. I also agree with you about the lack of a finish coat. No one's gonna call this truck a rat rod, but still...the gray primer gives it sort of a Road Warrior persona. To me, at any rate.
 


My favorite past time. :D

This is only my second ATV. I retired my first one with over 17,000 miles on it.
I bought this one in 2014 and it currently has 9531 miles and 824.6 hours.

That's equivalent to riding coast to coast 3.4 times at 11.5 mph.
 




This was back in January 2017.
I buried my snowcat while out grooming snowmobile trails.
I groom at night so they had to send in two Park Rangers on snowmobiles to get me.
They reached me at about 11:00 PM.
The following day they brought in another snowcat from another State Park and a couple
of extra hands from the shop in Salt Lake to help get me out.
The snowcat was brand new that winter and it some getting used to. ;)

The other snowcat wouldn't even budge mine. It took a lot of
digging to get it out of there. :)

We really lucked out that it was such a beautiful day.
 
Booger's big adventure...

We traveled up to the Denver area this weekend to visit with our youngest daughter on her birthday. We decided to take Booger along. Turned out she was the greatest "travelin' dog" we've ever had. No problems at all on the nearly 2,000 mile journey up and back!

Our daughter's home is absolute dog heaven - the area is heavily infested with squirrels! Booger LOVED chasing them, barking at them, and in general making their lives very uncomfortable. I took a few pictures of Booger in this amazing locale -

One time, Pancho Villa stayed here.
I guess he enjoyed it.
He didn't burn it down!
This is the Lodge at Cloudcroft, NM.
Cloudcroft was founded as a logging town.
A narrow gauge railroad took the logs downhill to Alamogordo.
Cloudcroft at 8700 feet elevation became a popular local summer vacation
Locale for the folks in the nearby lower and much hotter towns.

Cool thing 'bout living out here in the mountains of West Virginia is that you can find some cool stuff. My wife and I have gone exploring the area trails and have found some stuff that's been hidden for many years. We found an old train tunnel and later learned that it's called the Kessler Tunnel and it's been out here since 1906. Now the train track's overgrown but you can still smell the scent of burning coal.
Pretty cool.
We went for a hike today and I brought my camera.
