In front of My Grandparent's house. I think they were one of the last milk home delivery customers in our area. The galvanized box on the steps was an insulated cooler for their deliveries.Awesome picture.

LOL, I remember the "cheap" neighbors would only pay $1.75 & their St. Augustine grass was a pain with a push mower.

Yeah, and I remember push-mowing that damned grass that grew sky-high over their septic tanks. What was really needed was a sling blade...

It's great being out in the boonies where humans haven't had a chance to screw up the landscape with their food wrappers, cigarette butts, beer cans, and other assorted garbage.

I think Annie has convinced herself that if she sits there long enough, she will see one of the beavers who have constructed several dams there.
I don't want to disillusion her, so I let her sit there as long as she wants.

The Day The Supermarket Stood Still
The day we've dreaded has arrived. Robots patrol the earth, awaiting unknown orders for some unknowable mission.
But wait, there is one last hope! Those little folks standing up to the mechanical beast are my grandkids, and the young man in the hat is reading the code words from that slip of paper to halt the aggression: Klaatu Barada Nikto.
Hopefully it is not too late! Stay tuned next week.
