My cousin who I deer hunt with sent me this picture today from our ranch. There is a game camera by the deer feeder that is motion activated. I am guessing the grass behind it is 3 to 4 feet tall.

In 1970 I was working part-time at the Cincinnati Gardens. The ice crew was readying the rink for the night's hockey game. The Zamboni jockey set the blade for the first high cut and let me take it out on the grid for the first pass. It was like driving a 5mph glacier.

At least I can always say I drove one.

Just a couple of pictures from our 70 mile ride on the Great Western and Gooseberry Trails with great friends this past Saturday.

Y'all be careful and keep that contraption right-side up from now on. ;)

Years ago we were exploring the back roads of Canyonlands NP and came across a film crew shooting a scene about friends driving those back roads. It was ending of the movie "Thelma and Louise".

I was on patrol in a very rural part of the county recently and driving down a gravel road in my patrol car when I glimpsed the white head of this bald eagle. I slowed and rolled down the passenger window of my car, grabbed my camera and stopped. The eagle looked at me and let me snap a few shots through the passenger window.
