Near miss. I always wondered about the fish, whales, etc. that were killed when a bomb went off in the oceans.

I know the guy who wrote the test plan and ran the event. It's the Shock trials to ensure equipment and structure can withstand nearby explosions. They monitor the area in advance to ensure no whales or dolphins are nearby before the detonation.
