Range Vist 15-22 #3

Hi all
Today i went to the range with my 15-22 and 2 winchester 333 packs and i shot a couple clips and after like 30 rounds i got this cloud of white smoke and i looked inside the bolt and a casing was like smashed inside. Almost as it did no come out and the bolt came smashing on it and crushed it.

Other than that i had a failure to fires but thats prob the ammo and the only other thing was the casing would get stuck and keep the bolt open but that only happened a few times. You think i should send it back to S&W.

I'd suggest to try other brand of ammos before you send it in. I have no problem with CCI Mini Mags, Stinger and CCI std. velocity. If you find the right ammo, stick with it.

i know but where can i get it. i went to sports authority and got the winchester i wont use remington gold bc its dirty and annoying to keep clearing the jams

Get CCI minimags or the 550 federal bulk packs from Wal-mart, they were a night and day difference from the remingtons I first put through mine.

The Federals fire just fine in my 15-22. Even the hollow points.
