Beautiful Maine!
Before I reinstall the rear sight on my Shield (APEX kit/Truglo sights), I want to remove any confusion... does the rear sight re-install from right to left- or left to right? The APEX video shows the rear sight being removed from left to right, so I would think it would go back in from right to left... but the video shows it being re-installed from left to right.
Which is right???
... errrrr... correct???:D

Right to left on re-install.

Thanks

Thanks, C4-
That was always my understanding... then I looked at Apex's video again, and saw him reinstalling left to right. Googled sight installation last night, and again got conflicting information, some brand dependant. Wanted to be sure. Didn't see how I could go wrong re-installing same way they came out, but wanted to double-check. Especially since they were such a beast to remove (right to left). Ended up cutting them out with a cut-off wheel in a Dremel. (After breaking the tip off on a sight pusher!)

Well, I got the rear sight in, (Truglo sights/TG131MPT) ready to put the slide back on the gun when I get home tonight. However, around the edges of the sight pipes, both front and rear, I can see a dot of light that's distracting... it shows as a pinpoint dot of white light somewhere between the 5:00 to 7:00 position on the edge of the green. It is coming from ambient room lighting- and goes away if I cover up the top of the sight nearest my eye. In inside lighting, it is noticeable on all 3 dots, I took it outside and it was only visible on the front sight. It is highly distracting. Any thoughts?? I'm wondering if I seal the top with epoxy- as I've seen some comments doing- if that might block the light enough to eliminate that distracting dot?

Support line for dealers only...

I went to their site/support, they state their phone line is for dealers only... I wrote them, stating the issue. Haven't heard back yet. I will hold off on sealing the sights, though- until I hear back from them. Good advice.
