M&P 2.0's one in 9mm and one in 40 shown in attached photos. The 9mm takes the same guide rod and recoil spring assembly as my 4.25" versions but the 40 is longer and the 2 are not interchangeable. I am just looking for a spare to have on hand in case it is needed and with a different spring rate for my lighter loads. Who makes the longer version? It seems the companies on line selling M&P guide rods are not aware of this difference in the 5" M&P's

Ran into that myself and have a couple extra RSA for the other 4&1/4" .40s and the 9MM M&Ps.

These guys (Freestone Armory, on ebay) seem to know the difference. I got a couple for my 5" .40 2.0 last year from them.

Here's a link. They specify, down in the description portion, that it is for the 5" .40's, not the 9s or the 4&1/4" pistols of either caliber.
