For light loads in my Davis 32acp derringer, I used 90 grain LRN and 2.1 of WW231. I had a Walther PPk and that action cycled with that load, but I intended the load for the derringer in SASS side matches. The ammo worked fine but I was so slow, I never finished in the top 3 of any group of 4 or more!

I agree, if the brass is not split and the primer pockets are fine no reason to to load them up. I also agree W231 is a very good powder choice.
