I was happy to find some 158gr 38 special rounds the other day. I figured these would be great to check poa/poi in my M38. The first cylinder full fired pretty good. The second I noticed on round five it "locked the revolver down" I tried it a few times before I realized that the lead tip was sticking out of the cylinder not allowing it to rotate. I was shocked. I shot the rest of them from my M13-1 and have no intentions of shooting anymore. I will return to my 110 Hornady CD for carry.I just thought I would share. Is this common.

I just had the same thing happen to me w/ my M&P340. They were the same weight but reloads... Makes me question carrying that gun..

Camsdaddy,

I had the same thing happen (one time in 30 years) with some factory ammo I bought, it was Sellier & Belloit brand.

After I discovered the problem, I checked the rest of the box and they were so loose I was able to pull the heads out with my fingers.

No more foreign stuff for me.

Tony
