Got a 28-2 and a 686 out tonight and waxed them again. It's cold up here in the north country. I got to thinking how good it is for both the revolver and also for the revolvers owner to have Ren-Wax on hand when the road to the range is closed and is just to cold to go anyway. My purchase of Ren-Wax was money well spent and I'm sure everything in the safe gets waxed 4 or 5 times during the winter.

Heck, I wax on mine all the time, and well, it is not that cold down here.

I love the stuff. A year or so ago, we had some bad episodes with tornado's here in Arkansas. one gentelman's home was destroyed and his guns were laying in the elements for a day or so. He said that some of his firearms were oiled and some were coated with Renn Wax. The ones with the wax did not suffer , while the ones coated with oil did. He said made a believer of him, And me too.
