Friend of mine hasn't touched these beauties in years and sold them to me.

The gun on the right is a M36. It's in good shape with a bit of bluing loss. But the trigger is money and it still shoots like a dream.

I think the one on the left is a M34 (no-dash), but I'm really not all that certain. I don't think the grips are correct for a M34 No-Dash. Regardless, it's fun to shoot and dead-on accurate.

I think the adjustable sighted 36 is kind of rare, if I remember some were marked as model 50 and some were marked 36 but I think they are rare/ uncommon. I could be wrong someone more knowledgeable will be along shortly. I was wrong and need to pay more attention very nice

I've got the twin of your 36 and love it! Same dark grips too. Really sharp. The S/N puts mine in the 58-59 range. Enjoy your new additions!

I'm not entirely sure about that.... The M36 is clearly marked as such under the crane. The M34 has no ID under the crane.

What he said!!! I'd love a short bbl 22 to go with MY little guns. I've previously showed my trio of Terrier, Baby Chief and 32 HE Snub. Those little guys are just so darn CUTE!

We need the serial number to identify a "pre-model."
We need any letters that are with the serial number!
We don't need the actual serial number if it bothers you to post it.
Post the serial number like this: 4321XX
We do need the exact number of digits.
The one true place you can be sure of reading the serial number is the butt of the gun. It could be under the stocks.

If it's not model-marked behind the yoke, it's not a Model 34, it's a .22-32 Kit Gun. The Model 34 is also a .22-32 Kit Gun, but made after 1957, and therefore model-marked. Names only before '57, names and numbers after.
