We just saw a story a week or so ago on TV about her "nearing her 100th birthday". I told my wife and kids to watch, they just jinxed her and she won't see 100. Dang I loved that feisty old gal! [emoji3590]

I was just 4 years old when Betty became part of my life as the producer and star of the 1950s sitcom "Life With Elizabeth". She was "imprinted" on me as a little boy while watching TV. Betty was ALWAYS there in every decade doing something wonderfully entertaining. I was very much looking forward to all the write-ups heading our way for her 100th birthday. We will still have some of those ...... But they will be somewhat sad and melancholy. "Sue Ann Nivens" .... Oh Betty ...What a wonderful ride !! My "little boy and big boy heart" just aches knowing you have left.

Made me think of George Burns who also lived a very long life and was a great entertainer as was Betty White. I liked George Burns but didn't care for Betty White. Still respect who she was and all that she had done.

To me, she'll always be that feisty, foul mouthed old lady feeding the crocs in Lake Placid. She was great in that part.
Lots of people were planning big things for her birthday. A real shame she won't get to see it.
