Ruger GP 100 10mm

Anyone know what the “street” price of the 10 mm GP is? I know this varies, just wondering what the ballpark is.

I have followed them. The most recent ones were a little under $1k for a 4” and a little over $1k for a 3”. These were new or like new.

'New' revolver prices are crazy right now if, for no other reason, the big names aren't making them given the demand for semi-autos.

Ouch! That seems to be the MSRP from Ruger. I had hoped the street price might have been a bit less.

A friend begged me to take his 3” just a few years ago for 700.

I don’t believe there are many new gp100 10mm being cranked out of the factory. They probably aren’t discontinued but may just be on hold. There was a 5” blue 10mm that sold on GB for 650 plus delivery. The one 3” that sold in the last 90 days was 1500. The average price of the 4.2” on GB was about $900.

I was just at a gun shop and I know you're asking about 10mm, but just for reference they had a 3" GP100, new, but in .357. They had a $846 price tag on it. Real nice-looking gun; almost looked black. I didn't even ask about it, as it would be in my hands right now (kinda like that new car smell that tells your brain you need it.) So I would imagine a 10mm would be a few hundred more? Good luck in your quest!

Well, so much for my idea of an inexpensive way to burn mr 10mm and .40 that I have lying about. I still have one 4006, but all the 10XX’s are gone.

I gotta think that Revolvers are pretty much on the bottom of the list of things to make given the current craze for polymer pistols. Can't say as I blame them either.

Even with MIM for small parts and CNC machining for the big parts, revolvers are expensive to make. All-metal semi-auto pistols fall into the same category, just lots of machining and lots of metal shavings on the floor.
