If you mean accessibility then all seems fine.

If you mean content the gorilla has let us know that he frowns on talk of the goings on of other forums.

Ruger firearms have never interested me at all. Up until recent times, they always seemed like the "cheaper" alternative. For that you got a clunky gun with a horrible action and trigger - (yes, some exceptions to that statement).

Today's Ruger has improved over they originally set as their "model" and image by stepping it up a notch. They have done improvements to their guns and improved their designs as well. That said, Ruger is probably one of the best run Company's in the business. At this point, I am pretty well set and not looking to acquire more as I am quite happy with what I already have. So there yo have it - I don't own any Rugers and have no interest in going to their Forum (certainly NOT badmouthing it - I never went on it). Certainly not saying those interested in Ruger's should not do so either.

I go over there and read every once in a while. They redid the whole forum and I could never login again. Strange indeed.

For some reason I started getting an email every day about the subjects discussed on the the Ruger Forum from the day before. I see a lot of political subjects come up. Stuff that would not be allowed here. Stuff that if I started reading would make me mad so I don't go there.

Love the #1 and BH, but not enough interest beyond those models to warrant frequent visits to the Ruger site.

It has been updated. Do a search for it then you have too reset your password.
Didn't seem to be any advance notice that I know off.
There are 2 Ruger forums, one on .com and one on .net.

Although I own more Rugers than any other brand, I seldom visit there. Trying to count in my head, I come up with at least a dozen. Mostly .22 rimfire, long and short guns. Only one DA revolver in the bunch. My mantra has always been "DA=S&W, SA=Ruger. " i spend 90% of my gun forum time right here.

I own several Rugers - inherited my father in laws pre warning 6" Security Six and my deceased friends MKII Govt. Target. Both special to me. Long guns a tactical target 10/22 and a customized Ruger American .22 - both great fun at the range. All of these guns are very well made IMO.

I, too, am a member of several other firearm forums. I read others occasionally, but seldom post. Lots of us here "complain" about the rules - in mostly a very jovial way - but it's the adherence to the rules here that make this forum hands-down the best out there.

I don't have any Ruger revolvers, but have four of their semiauto pistols. I go there (Ruger forum) some, seems like business as usual.

I guess I should state that I have almost as many Rugers as I do S&W's, but that is a mix of SA revolvers, Security Six, 10/22, Mini-14, .22 semiautomatic pistols of various Marks, a 77/17, a M77, and a Red Label.
All my Smiths are handguns.
