This is a 1945 copy of Yank, a couple ducks, my Dad's dog tags and a WWll ration book with lots of stamps left. Stomping tin cans, saving bacon grease and victory gardens. I remember it all, also when he came home.

I had boxes of Life magazine from the WWII era. I tried to find anyone who would like to have them (I'd give them away.) The local antique dealers weren't interested and the local museum had no use for them. It was a shame but after 75 years of sitting in the attic, they made a one-way trip to the recycling center.
