Rusty Update **New Update Post 378**

More Rusty news.

"I went into my infusion clinic fully expecting a full 7 hour Torquemada session but I didn't pass my OD's eye test. He said I looked weak and worn down so he said just IV fluids today and he gave me a week's break to regain some energy for my last but seriously aggressive chemo infusion."

Some good news though!

"My blood labs today: cancer antigen markers indicate tumor has shrunk by more than half.
Praise be and I will take it."

Rusty, my honey suffered the same thing. Her Doc's ordered some blood transfusion that really perked her up. I'm no doctor but it might be a suggestion. Anyway, enjoy your vacation buddy, and get stronger!

Doc cut me off twice. Said I was not tolerating the treatment well but he tacked it back on at the tail end. I told him I started this thing and I'm going to finish it. :p

I had 4 blood transfusions back then (I had few RBCs). I always felt great after the transfusions, plus think about all the antibodies from those 4 other unknown donors. A couple pints of whole blood shot in the arm (or your port) makes for a good day.

I know it's tough but hang in there friend. There are too many great things yet to do in life.
