I' working out of town for a couple of months and the first day in town I found a pawn shop. They had an "S" serial number, six-inch. M28 in the case. locks up tight, all numbers match etc. I have it lay-away. Can someone give me an approximate date of manufacture. SN is S2808XX. I'm away from my SCSW until 16 Feb. thanks in advance.

Hi Fredo,
Just an FYI. You can download SCSW3 for free to have for quick reference. It doesn’t have all the info of SCSW4, but for stuff like s/n lookup at gun shows and pawn shops, it’s pretty handy.
