Good day,

I just bought a S&W 1911 custom engraved. here is a link;

I was wondering if it is an "E Series pistol" or the previous version? Everywhere online, it only mention that it has the grips E Series, but nothing else...

Neat, would like a S&W 1911 but they are not legal in CA.

I'm under the impression, that it's the same E series, but with the engraving. I bought one a few months ago.

As I understand it, it is an E-series pistol with the mechanical engraving.

Yes it is an "E' series 1911. Machine engraved and beautiful. Love mine and it will be a keeper.
